SENATORS Cynthia Villar and Manny Pacquiao on Monday were declared as the only lawmakers of the country whose Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth (SALN) reached over P3 billion.
Based on figures published in the Senate website, Villar remains to be the richest among all Philippine lawmakers with a net worth of P3,875,696,435 as of December 31, 2020.
Pacquiao, tagged as the country’s boxing icon who earned his riches atop the square boxing ring, came in second with a P3,187,092,600 net worth recorded on the same period an increase of P14,567,643 from his 2019 net worth.
Meanwhile, Senator Leila de Lima placed at the very last with only a net worth of P9,544,111—an increase of P1,220,641 compared to her declared net worth on December 31, 2019.
