THE Philippine National Police (PNP) said that the number of daily new COVID-19 infections in its ranks continue to drop.

It said that for the past 12 consecutive days, the PNP recorded not more than 100 new COVID-19 cases.

Data from the PNP revealed that only 61 COVID-19 cases were recorded yesterday while 62 recovered from the deadly disease.

On the other hand, only 848 active cases were recorded by the PNP.

PNP Deputy Chief for Administration (TDCA) and Administrative Support for COVID-19 Task Force (ASCOTF) Commander Lt. Gen. Joselito Vera Cruz already said that vaccination among PNP personnel was a big factor in the lower number of COVID-19 cases in the PNP.

Meanwhile, there were no additional deaths recorded in the PNP that’s why number of COVID-19 deaths in the PNP remain at 123.
